Family friendly Art Studio located on 152 Main Street, Shrewsbury, MA





About the instructor: Rashmi is an engineer by profession but art has been her passion and hobby since she was a teenager. Having an art studio/school of her own has always been her dream and it surfaced when she taught art to her daughter and her friends some years ago. She enjoyed the experience thoroughly and has been teaching art since.

Recently, she decided to take it to the next level.That is how the Have Fun With Art studio was born!  We hope that we can share our love of art with the community and hope to make this an enjoyable and fun place for everyone!

Art Workshop for Kids (Session 1)
  • Children will learn to draw and paint in a fun and relaxed environment. They will bring home 2/3 completed projects(depending upon the speed of the class) chosen from a variety of topics including Flowers, Fruits, Bugs, Animals, Landscapes, Designs and Still Life objects. We will work with multiple media such as Oil Pastels, Acrylic paints(on 9 x 12 canvas) and Color pencils. Small class size and individual attention.
  • All materials will be provided.

  • Jan 28 - March 11 (No class Feb 18 )
  • 6-7:15 pm
  • $118 residents, $141 nonresidents

Acrylic Painting for Adults
  • Learn Acrylic painting on Canvas. Take a break from the daily grind and spend some time being creative with other like-minded adults. We will work on and complete 2/3 different projects depending upon the complexity of the paintings and the speed of the class. The paintings will be done on 11 x 14 canvas. Topics may include Landscape/ Seascape, Still life with fruits/objects ,Floral, Freehand design among others. All materials will be provided.
